Today it seems like each political group has their own agenda moving without regard of others. Wouldn’t it be great if we were all tied together moving in the same direction without losing our identity? It would be like individuals attending the same sporting event.

We don’t all have to agree on every play, or even root for the same team, but we should be working toward the same goal, appreciating the work and effort of the players.  We as voters can put our work and effort toward a society that works for everyone. That kind of unity doesn’t erase individuality—it honors it, while recognizing our shared humanity. We can work together even though we may not get exactly what we want.

We will be hosting 30-minute Zoom candidate conversations for the 2026 midterm election.

Candidates representing the Salina area will choose a date and time.  Candidates will receive prepared questions to answer and entertain questions from attendees. We will inform voters of scheduled conversations through our weekly update.
